Organ System Main Functions: The Excretory System gets rid of waste as a whole. This system is important in your body because it eliminates all the waste and toxics from your body.
Organ of interest Main functions: The role that the Kidney plays in the Excretory System is to clean blood from bad things like poison. It is important because it gets rid of bad things in the blood like poison.
Other organs in the system: The other organs in the Excretory System are the bladder, ureter,and urethra.
What happens if the organ fails?
If the kidney fails there is a problem because that means the recipient will have to wait for an organ transplant.
Why does this organ fail?
The organ fails for a reason and that reason is that the blood cells in the body don't accept the organ so that means the kidney you got wont do anything.
How does an organ transplant fix the problem from the organ failure?
An organ transplant can fix the problem of an organ failing by switching it for a new and more healthy organ that the body can accept.
Ethical Dilemma about organ donation: The dilemma is not every kidney can be accepted by a doctors word only the body can decide if its good or not.
